What did it look like at your house?

This past Sunday was conference for us Mormons. Twice a year they broadcast from Salt Lake city our Prophets and leaders and special speakers. It is wonderful for so many reasons. 1. Church in your pajamas. 2. Church in your pajamas. 3. You feel recharged and hearing our prophet speak always makes you refocus on being better. This year his words on gratitude resonated with me like a Gong in my ear. I was on call that day and had made no plans other than watch conference as much as possible. Well I didn't get called in and that never ever happens so I was free to watch 3 sessions that day. It was great. I set up Mikes laptop in the kitchen and made 4 meals for the week. I am having a busy week right now so I am pretty grateful to the fine folks at Mikes firm for that Sweet lap top. The kids played and distracted us for one session before I sent them to play polly pockets and Mike slept through one session- he needed it. This week I am working 4 days and packing for our vacation next week (no I'm not complaining) Usually I'd be going nuts now, but oddly I feel pretty good. That Monson knows his stuff.
